The key to M&K's success is an ability to attract trainers from all over the UK and beyond who are experts in their field and have proven track records teaching groups of 10–30 people in a classroom environment.

Our trainers also:

• Get enjoyment out of teaching and seeing people succeed
• Recognise that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about changing attitudes
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Believe that learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

We currently have vacancies for associate trainers in the following areas:

Advanced skills:

• Physical examination
• Urgent and primary care
• Minor illness

Clinical trainers:

We are always keen to recruit lively trainers to deliver existing programmes such as The ECG Workshop and Venepuncture and Cannulation.

M&K pay a freelance fee plus expenses, depending on experience and subject areas covered. Rates will be discussed at an informal interview.

The amount of work you will be offered will depend on your availability, versatility and the popularity of the subjects you cover.

Typically our trainers remain in employment within the Health Service and work 2 or 3 days in every couple of months.
