Making A Purchase
Our prices are based on delivery anywhere in the UK. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop or courses, and click on any items that you wish to buy and add them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order.
Price Increases
Although we update our website on a regular basis, publishers reserve the right to increase prices without prior notification. We will automatically notify you by email should the price of the product you have ordered increase.
All orders for products are subject to availability and M&K Update reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.
Pricing Errors
Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on our website are correct, mistakes can sometimes be made. If we discover a mistake in the price of the products you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling your order. If we are unable to contact you or we do not receive a reply from you, we will cancel your order. If your order is cancelled and you have already paid for the products you will receive a full refund.
How to book
Scheduled courses: Registration for most of our courses is at 09:15am for a 09:30am start. Most conclude at 16:30pm although this can vary. Fee is inclusive of vat @ 20% and includes tuition, course materials, morning and afternoon refreshments (not lunch) and a certificate of completion.
Telephone: Most of our clients prefer to book or order by telephone, bookings are regarded as firm bookings. We will allow a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period after which the booking will be treated as confirmed.
We do NOT accept provisional bookings.
Post or Fax: Feel free to photocopy the order form as many times as you require, copies can be downloaded from our website
Email bookings: Will be accepted as long as we have the order details, your full name and contact details - bookings@mkupdate.co.uk
All orders can be booked online using credit/debit card.
Paying for your purchase
Personal bookings: payment should be made using a cheque, credit or debit card at the time of your booking.
Payments by an employer or third party – an invoice will be raised immediately and payment is due within 30 days of issue. Purchase Order numbers should be quoted where possible on your application.
Late payments will incur an additional 8% charge under the Late Payments of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
Please ensure you pay the correct fee as indicated on our invoices. An administration charge of £20.00 will be made to refund any overpayments.
Delivery times of Books and Training Equipment
Books: Will be dispatched the same day during normal office working hours (Mon-Fri) if the order is received before 3pm.
Training Equipment: Please note M&K does not manufacture the training equipment, and as such we are therefore subject to stocks, price changes and potential third party delays. A delivery date will be given after we receive your order.
Postage & Packing
£3.00 for book orders less than £76. FREE for orders £76 and over.
£30.00 for training equipment orders.
Cancellation - Courses
Cancellations within 28 days of the course start are subject to 100% of the course fee, however we can accept named substitutes within this period.
Cancellations received more than 28 days of the course start date will be liable to a £20.00 administration fee.
Cancellations must be made by email and will not be accepted by any other means.
Cancellation policy - Training Equipment
You may cancel your order before the delivery, or within seven days after the date of delivery by contacting our Admin Team either by email to enquries@mkupdate.co.uk or by telephone on 017687 73030 quoting your order number. We will refund you the cost of the unwanted products and our delivery charges. If you cancel your order within seven days after the date of delivery, you must return the unwanted products to us unused and in their original packaging at your risk and at your cost within the ten days of delivery.
Return of Faulty, Incorrect or Sub-standard Products: If the products you return are faulty, incorrect or damaged in transit to you we will refund you the cost of the products, our delivery charges and your resonable costs for returning the products to us. Such products must be returned to us within ten days of delivery.
Travel and accommodation
You are advised NOT to book travel tickets or accommodation until you have received written confirmation of the course venue, which will normally be 21 days before the scheduled dates. M&K will not reimburse these costs. You are advised to take out insurance to cover for any unplanned occurances.
Changes by M&K Update Ltd.
M&K reserve the right to cancel a course, change the venue, amend the dates and/or fees and course tutors at any time and without prior notice.
Complaints
Any concerns regarding our services should be made by email to enquiries@mkupdate.co.uk
Your concerns should be made to us within seven days of receipt of our service/goods.
One of our senior management team will will endevour to answer any concerns within seven days of receipt of your message.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is added. We are pleased to accept enquiries for orders outside the UK. We will quote for these on an individual basis.
