Making A Purchase
Browse our selection of courses or books, and click on any items that you wish to buy and add them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order. Select the ‘Pay-Later’ option if you would like an invoice to be sent to your employer - we will require the full name, job title, department, email address, work address and contact number of the person responsible for payment.

Price Increases
Although we update our website on a regular basis, publishers reserve the right to increase prices without prior notification. We will automatically notify you by email should the price of the product you have ordered increase.

All orders for products are subject to availability and M&K Update reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.

Pricing Error
Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on our website are correct, mistakes can sometimes be made. If we discover a mistake in the price of the product you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling your order. If we are unable to contact you or we do not receive a reply from you, we will cancel your order. If your order is cancelled and you have already paid for the products you will receive a full refund.

Course Information to Note

Classroom Courses:
Registration time for most courses begin at 09:15 and will conclude around 16:30.
Fee is inclusive of VAT @ 20% and includes tuition, course materials, morning and afternoon refreshments (not lunch) and a certificate of completion.

Scheduled Live Remote Courses:
Registration time for most courses begins at 09:15 and will conclude around 16:30.
Fee is inclusive of VAT @ 20% and includes tuition, course materials, and a certificate of completion.

Requirements for attending a Live Remote Courses:
You must have a working camera and microphone:
This is a requirement for our online courses.
Your camera must be switched on for the whole duration of the session, our courses are interactive and require delegates to participate in group discussions and activities.
If you attend the session without a camera or microphone, our course tutors or administration team reserve the right to remove you from the course, and we will not issue a certificate, as we are unable to prove your attendance on the course.

Telephone: You are able to book or order via telephone on 01768 773030, all bookings unless otherwise stated by M&K Update, are regarded as firm bookings.

We will allow a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period after which the booking will be treated as confirmed.

We do NOT accept provisional bookings.

 

Paying for your purchase:

Personal Bookings:
Payment should be made using a cheque, credit or debit card at the time of your booking.

Payments by an Employer or Third Party:
An invoice will be raised immediately and payment is due within 30 days of issue. Purchase Order numbers should be quoted where possible on your application.

If you don’t have a Purchase Order at the time of booking, please ensure the person listed to receive the invoice have their full details included on the order, e.g. name, job title, department, email address, work address and contact number.

Late payments will incur an additional 8% charge under the Late Payments of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Please ensure you pay the correct fee as indicated on our invoices. An administration charge of £20.00 will be made to refund any overpayments.

 

Book Orders & Delivery
Orders will be dispatched the same day during normal office working hours (Mon-Fri), providing the order is received before 3pm.

Postage & Packaging - £5.00 for orders less than £75.00.
FREE for orders £75.00 and over.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

 

Cancellations – Courses
Cancellations within 28 days of the course start date are subject to 100% of the course fee, however we can accept named substitutes within this period.

Cancellations received more than 28 days prior to the course start date will be eligible for a refund, minus a £20.00 administration fee.

Cancellations must be made by email and will not be accepted by any other means.

 

Travel and Accommodation
You are advised NOT to book travel tickets or accommodation until you have received written confirmation of the course venue, which will normally be 21 days before the scheduled dates.
M&K will not reimburse these costs. You are advised to take out travel insurance to cover for any unplanned occurrences.

 

Changes by M&K Update Ltd.
M&K reserve the right to cancel a course, change the venue, amend the dates and/or fees and course tutors at any time and without prior notice.

Any concerns regarding our services should be made by email to

Your concerns should be made to us within seven days of receipt of our service/goods.

One of our senior management team will will endevour to answer any concerns within seven days of receipt of your message.

 

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is added. We are pleased to accept enquiries for orders outside the UK. We will quote for these on an individual basis.
