What is spirometry/an overview of the measurement of lung function and basic anatomy and physiology of the lungs

Why spirometry is performed including diagnosis and review of asthma and COPD patients

Patient preparation, cautions and contraindications Maintenance of equipment

Technically acceptable and reproducible results (including group work)

Recognising common errors
