OVERVIEW

A newly developed course, aimed for pharmacists who are now offering treatment for 'seven common conditions' centering around the new NHS and UK Government 'Pharmacy First' scheme.

CONTENT

Managing Conditions:
Sinusitis,  Sore Throats,  Earache (1-17 yrs),  Infected Insect Bites,  Impetigo,  Shingles,  Non-Complicated UTIs

Contraceptive Pill & Blood Pressure Checks

- Clinical History Taking, Communication Skills & Record Keeping

AIMS AND OUTCOMES

• To equip the pharmacist with up-to-date information and skills into the assessment and management of the 7 common conditions.
• Explore the current best practice in managing these conditions and providing theoretical understanding of these commonly encountered conditions.
