Informed Consent in Clinical Practice

Duration: 1 Day(s)
CPD Hours: 8

OVERVIEW

Consent is at the heart of all interactions with patients/clients requiring healthcare. The delivery of healthcare is complex requiring many Healthcare professionals to interact & engage with the patient. The process of obtaining consent is not as straightforward as it might seem given recent judicial decisions (Montgomery v Lanarkshire Health Board 2015) & (Amendments to the Mental Capacity Act 2005).
