you teach?
A key to the M&K
success is an ability to attract trainers from all over the UK and beyond who
are expert in their field and have a proven teaching track record to group
sizes of 10-30 within a classroom environment.
The following qualities are also required:
- An approachable
personality.
- Enjoy teaching and seeing people succeed
- Recognise that teaching is not
just about imparting knowledge but also about changing attitude.
- An excellent
knowledge of their subject.
- Think learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding
experience
We
currently have vacancies for Associate Trainers in the following areas:
Advanced Skills:
physical examination
urgent and primary
care
Minor Illness
Clinical
Trainers:
We are always keen to recruit lively trainers to deliver existing programmes
such as The ECG Workshop and Venepuncture and Cannulation
training.
M&K pay a free-lance
fee plus expenses, this will be dependant on experience and subject area you
can cover. Rates will be discussed at an informal interview.
The amount of work
you will be offered will depend on your availability, versatility and the
popularity of the subjects you can cover.
Typically our trainers
remain in employment within the Health Service and work 2-3 days every two
months or so.
