Aims/Outcomes

  • Develop awareness of the knowledge & skills used to provide an evidence based Bariatric Surgery Service
  • To understand the risks and benefi ts of Bariatric surgery
  • To develop an awareness of The Patient Journey
  • Identify the need for a multi-disciplinary team approach to Bariatric care
  • Develop an awareness of issues related to obesity & weight loss in
  • morbid/super obesity patients.
