Making A Purchase
Our prices are based on delivery anywhere in the UK. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order.
Price Increases - Although we update our website on a regular basis, publishers reserve the right to increase prices without prior notification. We will automatically notify you by email should the price of the product you have ordered increase.
All orders for products are subject to availability and M&K Update reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.
Pricing Errors - Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on our website are correct, mistakes can sometimes be made. If we discover a mistake in the price of the products you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling your order. If we are unable to contact you or we do not receive a reply from you, we will cancel your order. If your order is cancelled and you have already paid for the products you will receive a full refund.
How to book your course
Scheduled course information:
Registration for all courses is at 09:15am for a 09:30am start. Most conclude at 16:30pm although this can vary. Fee is inclusive of VATand includes tuition, course materials, morning and afternoon refreshments (not lunch) and certificate of completion.
Telephone
Most of our clients prefer to book or order by telephone, bookings are regarded as firm bookings. We will allow a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period after which the booking will be treated as confirmed. We do NOT accept provisional bookings.
Post or Fax
Feel free to photocopy the order form as many times as you require, copies can be downloaded from our website
Email
Will be accepted as long as we have the order details, your full name and contact details - bookings@mkupdate.co.uk
All orders can be booked online using credit/debit card.
Terms and Conditions
Paying for your course
Personal bookings – payment should be made using a cheque, credit or debit card at the time of your booking.
Payments by an employer or third party – an invoice will be raised immediately and payment is due within 30 days of issue. Purchase Order numbers should be quoted where possible on your application.
Late payments will incur an additional 8% charge under the Late Payments of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
Book and Equipmewnt orders
Please note M&K does not manufacture equipment, and as such we are therefore subject to stocks, re-prints, price changes and potential third party delays. We aim to dispatch books and equipment orders within 5 working days of receiving your order
Postage & Packing - £3.00 for book and poster orders less than £50. FREE for book and poster orders £50 and over. £7.50 for anatomical model orders. £12.50 for training equipment orders.
Courses Cancellation
Course cancellations within 28 days of the course start are subject to 100% of the course fee, however we can accept named substitutes within this period.
Course cancellations received more than 28 days of the course start date will be liable to a £20.00 administration fee.
CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE BE EMAIL AMD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY ANY OTHER MEANS.
Travel and accommodation
You are advised NOT to book travel tickets or accommodation until you have received written confirmation of course venue, which will normally be 21 days before the scheduled dates. M&K will not reimburse these costs. You are advised to take out travel insurance.
Changes by M&K Update Ltd
M&K reserve the right to cancel a course, change the venue, amend the dates and/or fees and course tutors at any time and without prior notice.

Shipping And Handling
Books and CD ROMS attract a delivery charge of £3.00 for any orders up the value of £49.99.
Books and CD ROMS orders valued £50.00 and over are delivered free of charge.
All Medical equipment attracts a delivery charge of £12.50.

Delivery Schedule
Books are normally dispatched within 5 working days. Medical equipment orders are usually dispatched within 15 working days.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added. We are pleased to accept enquiries for orders outside the UK. We will quote for these on an individual basis.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy
M&K Update do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option.

Returns Policy
M&K Update are not able to supply any of our goods on approval.
Your Cancellation Rights
You should cancel any unwanted orders via email to store@mkupdate.co.uk or by contacting our Admin Team direct on 017687 73030 before the goods are dispatched.
You have no right to cancel your order in accordance with this condition if the products you have ordered are: Audio, video or DVD recordings or computer software if the holographic seal and/or shrink-wrap has been unsealed by you.
You may cancel your order before the delivery, or within seven days after the date of delivery by contacting our Admin Team either by email to store@mkupdate.co.uk or by telephone to 017687 73030 quoting your order number. We will refund you the cost of the unwanted products and our delivery charges.
If you cancel your order within seven days after the date of delivery, you must return the unwanted products to us unused and in their original packaging at your risk and at your cost within the thirty days of delivery. Provided they are returned within thirty days of delivery we will credit your payment card with the cost of the unwanted product and our delivery charges within thirty days of the date of recepit of the items at our premises.
Return of Faulty , Incorrect or Sub-standard Products
If the products you return are faulty, incorrect or damaged in transit to you we will refund you the cost of the products, our delivery charges and your resonable costs for returning the products to us. Such products must be returned to us within thirty days of delivery.
