The ECG Workshop
Cardiac arrhythmia need quick, simple, effective assessment and management, founded on evidence based knowledge and practical assessment. However, although the patient with a cardiac emergency often present in the acute phase, they may also in many instances have a chronic history underlying this process. This workshop addresses the needs of nurses, doctors and allied health professionals who encounter ECG monitoring and traces, whilst recognising the often chronic nature of these diseases, by building on a knowledge of pathophysiology, assessment, examination, treatment and care.
